The Scientific Committee
for EARIE 2016 is chaired by Alessandro Gavazza (London
School of Economics). He is the co-editor of the Journal of
Industrial Economics and a research fellow of the CEPR. His
research focuses on the role of frictions in markets. He has
also studied the role of information in elections, and the
interactions between labor and healthcare markets. His
research has been published in the American Economic Review,
the Journal of Political Economy, and the Review of Economic
Studies.
