Trains and railway stations
Lisbon’s main station
Portugal is Santa Apolónia located on Avenida Infante Dom
Henrique, eastern district of Alfama, on the Tagus River
bank.
Located in Restauradores, the Rossio train station runs
trains to Sintra every 10 minutes. From Cais do Sodré
railway station there are trains for Cascais, Estoril and
Oeiras.
Kindly note that on-the-spot fines will apply on the train
for travel without a ticket.

Buses
Carris is the public
transport company that runs buses, trams and cable cars in
Lisbon. Tickets (viva card) for public transports are
non-personalized paper tickets, rechargeable and cost €0.50
each. Tickets can be used for travelling on metro, buses and
trams.

Metro
Metro trains run every day
from 06h00 until 01h00 and a single journey to any station
on the network cost 1.40€.
